Stunning Footage Shows North Carolina Condo Collapse From High Winds

 Saturday, January 12, 2014
A powerful storm rolling through North Carolina destroyed a condominium  complex Saturday, with stunning footage showing the under construction building
collapsing to the ground from high winds.

The incredible video, obtained by the News & Observer, was shot by  wildlife photographer Ed Braz in North Raleigh. It shows the future complex
toppling over, under pressure from high winds reaching up to 86 miles per hour in the area.   The condo complex, Brier Creek, located in Raleigh, NC is currently under construction.  No one was hurt in the collapse.

The damaging storm has left thousands without power Sunday, according to  WRAL.   –  Follow Oliver Darcy (@oliverdarcy) on Twitter
